digital marketing to boost fundraising

Neuroblastoma Australia is a small charity that that raises funds for research into safer, better treatments for rare children’s cancer neuroblastoma. The charity wanted to improve their digital presence, particularly their website, to become a useful resource to support families and to ultimately increase online donations.

Initially, I consulted on a new website sitemap and page content to improve overall supporter experience and engagement. I created a digital marketing campaign for their Christmas Fundraising Appeal through website copy, email marketing, social media and paid social adverts (PPC).

I provide on-going marketing consulting support, including management of Google Ad Grant campaigns (non-profit organisations receive up to $10,000 free spend every month) and paid Facebook campaigns to drive signups for virtual fundraising events. This includes optimising ad copy, creating landing pages to generate leads and promote products in their online shop.

30% increase in donations made via the website due to improved design, functionality and information.

Achieved fundraising target for Christmas Appeal, with higher than average open and click rates in email campaigns.

70% increase in website traffic from search campaigns, building awareness for the charity and leading to 50% increase in shop transactions.

what my client says:

“Lucy provided excellent insight into other not-for-profit websites, helping with our strategy and areas where we needed experienced input. I would highly recommend Lucy.”
